Sour Cream Coffee Cake

 

¼ lb. butter

2 eggs beaten

1 cup sugar

½ pt. sour cream

1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups sifted flour

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp. salt

 

Filling:

½ cup chopped walnuts

¼ cup sugar

¼ tsp. cinnamon

 

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla beating until well blended. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Add gradually to creamed mixture, beating after each addition. Butter and flour tube pan. Pour ½ batter into pan then sprinkle mixture of nuts over top. Add remaining batter and then mixture of nuts on top. Bake at 350˚ for 45 minutes.
